Do you have a dull mailbox just waiting to be dressed up? Come watch our tutorial for a Deco Mesh Christmas Mailbox Cover to jazz it up for the holidays! This will make your mailbox instantly recognizable if you're hosting lots of holiday parties this season, and will turn your front yard to a cheery & inviting place. We will show you how to use a versatile work rail in this project, which allows you to create anything from swags to centerpieces to mailbox covers like this! Whatever your skill level, we bring you through every step you need to create this holiday decoration.

Supplies

You'll also need: Scissors, Wire Cutters, and a Yardstick or Ruler.

This project took our designer a little less than a half hour to complete but if you are a beginner be aware it may take longer, and allot plenty of time! This project comes in at just under $60 for all the supplies, but you will have plenty of leftover supplies to create more crafts with. With our scraps we created a Deco Mesh Wine Wrap - perfect for a host gift! Or you could make another mailbox cover for a friend or family member for just $18 more. (Simply the cost of another roll of mesh and another work rail. However, if you use the mesh more sparingly in both products, one roll could create two covers- they just would not be as voluminous)

To firmly attach the mailbox cover to a mailbox instead of just placing it over the top, you can take a wire or string and tie it from one end of the rail around to the other underneath the mailbox.
