ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES NEEDED:

  • Floral  Wire
  • Small Eye Hooks
  • Finishing Nail
  • Hammer
  • Rotary Cutter or Scissors
With no Luck needed, this project took only 2.5 hours to complete. Tying the tulle was the most time-consuming portion of this craft. To help speed things up, you can either cut your tulle ahead of time or have a helper continuing to cut tulle while you tie. To save time we skipped the middle rung and the center of the outer rung of the wreath's upper section since both are going to be covered with the hat. If you wish to use a smaller hat, or no hat altogether use the rest of the 5th roll of tulle to fill in both rungs.

The bow-tie can be hung to your desire. We liked having it mingled in with his beard, but you can hang it just below the beard as well.  Simply adjust the knot on its elastic strap to change its height.

Hanging the wreath can be done in a few different ways. We hung ours from the leather strap of the Hat in the back. You can also cut a small hole into the Hat fabric to hook the nail onto, or attach floral wire to two sides of the outer rung of the wreath (going in between the tulle) and hanging it from that.

Adding up the cost of all the products we offer, the total to make a Leprechaun wreath should be right under $40.  Although we used this Happy St. Patrick's Day sign, we offer many other delightful St. Patrick's Day signs and picks that can be used to dress up this wreath.
