Want to get the most out of your dollar for every season? Watch our latest tutorial (broken into 4 parts!) to see how to create just one deco mesh wreath and change it up for three different seasons! We've created an easy formula that can be utilized again and again to re-use your old wreaths and freshen them up every year for less money than making a brand new one. Each tutorial is less than three minutes, so only a little over 8 minutes total for three completely different wreaths!

Supplies (Basic Wreath)

Supplies (Christmas Wreath)

Supplies (Valentine's Day Wreath)

Supplies (4th of July)

For our designer, the basic wreath took about 10 minutes to complete and then each subsequent decorating took 20 minutes (To cut all the ribbons beforehand and assemble). It will take about 10 minutes to disassemble the wreath to change out the ribbons. For the basic wreath and all seasons combined your total price would be $127, but remember that is three wreaths in one! Each time you re-use the wreath you are saving nearly $20 on the basic wreath.  You will also have plenty of ribbon left over for each season to make tons of other crafts & matching decorations. The prices for each individual decorations (excluding price of basic wreath) are as follows: Christmas - $41 , Valentine's Day -  about $34, Fourth Of July - Just over $36 .

The basic formula we used for a 15"-24" inch wreath is four styles of ribbons, and cutting seven 11"-12" strips of each style of ribbon. Then incorporating one type of spray (you may need more than one spray depending on what you pick, for instance we used two each of the glitter ball spray and the holly spray but we needed three of the heart spray) and one larger focal point decoration. As we suggested in the videos, a chalkboard is a great focal point decoration for this project because all you need to do to switch it up each season is change the message on the sign. This will also allow you to hot glue the piece into the wreath, so it is one less thing to take in and out every time you change the season. Using this formula you can create thousands of different wreaths.

When each holiday rolls around again and you would like to freshen up your ribbons, instead of buying 4 whole new rolls next Christmas, you can always just keep two styles and only introduce two new ones, if you really want to make your dollar go the extra mile. This is also a great place to use scraps from other projects, since you only need about 2.5 Yards of each style of ribbon max.
