Note: The supplies & amounts are for one side of a six foot tall tree (with the exception of the Deco Mesh Tree- which is on an eight foot tall tree) If you want to decorate front & back, simply double the supply amounts.
Each of the trees took our designer about 25 minutes to complete. You can speed up the process by inviting a friend to help or pre-making the bows beforehand. The Deco Mesh Tree (front only) costs about $38 in supplies and the Burlap and Mesh (front only) tree costs just about $63 in supplies. The price of the Burlap & Cotton Tree (front only) would be about $102, However the majority of this cost is for the cotton sprays, so if you want to cut down the price, just lower the number of cotton sprays. Even physically cutting the cotton sprays and placing them around the tree can make one stem go a lot farther. If you need both the front and back decorated, the prices would double. However, if you have your tree places in a corner we often find that you don't need to decorate the back.If you want lights in the tree, we recommend placing them first, then decorating. White lights would look stunning on the Burlap & Cotton Tree. You could put either white lights or red & green lights on the Burlap & Mesh tree, however since it is already so colorful don't feel like you absolutely need colored lights. We already show our simple Deco Mesh tree with multi-colored lights, but if would look beautiful with any color!
Use this method to decorate your tree in any way you desire! If these colors aren't for you, we have hundreds of different colors of Ribbon and Deco Mesh. If you like the burlap feel but don't like the natural color, we also have different Colored Burlap as well! For a matching tree skirt, we recommend our Recycled Burlap Sacks. At only $1.99 they're Cheap, easy & they'd match great with both these trees! All you need to do is cut them up a bit, and slide them underneath your tree.
** If the pinecone tinsel ties aren't available, you can also use these pinecone picks in the same way. Â Just wire them together and use like you would a tinsel tie, as shown below. The bag has 50 of these, so you would get a whopping 25 sets using this method.
