Making an Alabama Football Wreath with Deco Mesh

We try to keep it interesting by slowing down for the important parts and speeding through the repetitive stuff.If you've never made a deco mesh wreath before, you'll have no trouble doing so after seeing this step by step tutorial. And even if you have, you just might learn a few tips and tricks by watching -- such as how the designer attaches the letter and helmet ornament.
Supplies List: (or buy them all)
- Houndstooth Ribbon - 10 yard roll - Uses about 7 yards
- 2.5" Burgundy Deco Mesh Ribbon - 25 yard roll - Uses about 7 yards
- 21" Burgundy Deco Mesh - 10 yard roll - Uses about 4 yards
- 21" Black and White Deco Mesh - 10 yard roll - Uses about 4 yards
- Crimson Letter A
- Football Helmet Ornament
- Houndstooth Hat**
- Work Wreath

The actual time to make the wreath was around 30 minutes for our experienced designer. A beginner may need an hour or more. The approximate cost of all the supplies is around $48, but you could make two wreaths for not much more ($70). You'll have enough of the two ten-yard 21" deco mesh rolls to make two, you'll have more than enough of the 25-yard roll of 2.5" deco mesh ribbon, and you should be able to make the houndstooth ribbon stretch for two wreaths if used more sparingly than in our video.
