This narrow 1" ribbon pairs two very different fabric textures back to back: a deep red velvet face with a dense, soft pile and a subtle directional sheen, and a moss green dupioni reverse with the characteristic irregular slub texture that mimics woven silk. Unlike the metallic-backed or glitter-backed versions in this ribbon family, this one is all about contrasting natural-looking fabric surfaces — rich red velvet on one side, earthy green dupioni on the other. Green stitching runs along both wired edges, visible on both faces.
The red and green color combination makes this a natural fit for Christmas wreaths, garlands, and swags. At 1" wide, it works best as an accent ribbon — weave it through a wreath form to add a slim line of velvet texture, or layer it into a bow combination alongside wider Christmas ribbons.
