Beautiful but difficult to work with.

The velvet is a lovely smokey color and the gold is sumptuous. The wiring is perfect. The weight of the ribbon is considerable, making it difficult to use for bow making. I am using it for Elizabethan collars so it is working out great. I am also going to use it for trim on a gold drum I am making for a stand for a doll in progress. I highly recommend this ribbon for certain uses that do no require flexiblity.

This true-velvet ribbon is thick and weighty, and holds its shape very well with heavy gauge wire.  The dusty blue front side is fused with a shimmery, gold dupioni fabric. The ribbon is bordered with matching light gold, metallic trim.  The result is a luxurious ribbon with high quality construction.
