Description

This 2.5" wide fall plaid ribbon features a classic tartan-style grid woven in warm orange, olive green, burgundy/plum, and cream with a small percentage of copper metallic content adding a subtle hint of shine. The pattern has a homespun, fabric-like texture that gives it a slightly rustic, handwoven appearance — a step up in width from the 1.5" version of this same ribbon, making it better suited for fuller bows and larger wreath projects. The edges are finished with green stitching over wired borders that hold their shape well.

At 2.5" wide, this ribbon works especially well as a primary ribbon in fall wreaths, layered with coordinating solids in burgundy or olive, or paired with burlap for a harvest-themed arrangement. The warm, traditional plaid reads as autumnal without leaning too heavily into novelty, making it a solid workhorse ribbon for Thanksgiving and general fall decorating.

Wired Ribbon - Splice Disclaimer

Wired edge ribbons (from Craft Outlet or otherwise) may not always be a single continuous piece.  In cases where a spool has been spliced, the factory has been instructed to provide 6" or more of extra ribbon to make up for any associated waste.

Most spools will be continuous without splices, but not all. Customers finding a splice will typically adjust their bows to hide the splice within a fold.
