This stem is long, slender and  wired throughout.  Its sheath is lightly flocked, giving it a velvety look and rendering its shade sage green.  It divides into three sections, two with fully open bright yellow poppy flowers and one with a poppy bud. The silk petals contrast with their textured centers.

• About 20" long from the bottom fork to the tip of the bud
• Poppies are 4.5" in diameter and the bud is 2" tall
