The front of this 4" wide ribbon is a plush cranberry red velvet that reads pinkish, with a soft, slightly lustrous pile. The back is a gold metallic fabric with a fine woven texture. Unlike the satin-backed velvets in this line, the reverse side is a contrasting color, so every curled tail and flipped loop flashes gold against the deep berry-red front. Both edges are finished with gold metallic overlock stitching. At this width, it makes full, statement-sized bows for Christmas wreaths, door swags, and mantel garlands.
