Silver metallic fabric covers the front of this 4" ribbon, embossed with a raised scale pattern of small curved ridges that resemble mermaid or fish scales. The texture catches light at every bump, so the face reads as bright, high-shine silver with darker shadowed hollows. The reverse is a finer, sparkly silver metallic lamé, and it wraps around both edges to form a rounded, puffy border with white stitching just inside each edge. Unlike the velvet styles in this line, this one is all metallic, giving you shine on both sides with a sculpted feel on the front.
The 4" width makes it a good fit for big statement bows on winter and Christmas wreaths, especially silver-and-white, frosted, or icy blue designs. The puffy edges give bow loops and tails a finished, piped look, and the 5-yard roll is enough for one or two large bows or a run of mantel garland swags.
