This garland has been treated to be UV resistant, which means it will resist fading much more than an untreated item. We expect you to get several years of outdoor seasonal usage, but this period will vary depending on geographic location and hours of the day with direct sun exposure. We provide no warranty or guarantee. To maximize outdoor life, use under a covered outdoor location and consider applying an outdoor UV spray.
The garland has textural interest with a mix of plastic cedar along with two-tone PVC fir, short-needled pine and long-needled pine. The PVC on this garland is easy on the hands - less scratchy. Each pine piece is wired for shaping and is attached to a nearly invisible wired spine.

I had trouble finding nice looking, lighted outdoor rated garland for my front porch that is exposed to the elements. I found these and made my own. I like that these have three different types of greenery, although one is not very realistic. I attached 6 strands together then tied lights to it, and it looks great. My one complaint is that many of the greenery pieces had sharp ends sticking out the back that I had to bend so that it wouldn’t scrape up my wood. In the picture it’s the garland on the outside of the porch wrapped around the posts. It goes well with my other fake garland around the door.
