This pretty butterfly is made from D. Stevens' designer ribbon fabric.  The top side is made from the same butterfly print taffeta as our 4" Poplin Spring Butterflies Ribbon.  The back side is orange dupioni. The two fabrics are fused together and accented with orange embroidery stitching.  Wires are securely stitched between the fabrics so you can manipulate the four wing sections to "pose" your butterfly in your creation. Underneath the butterfly there is a metal alligator clip that is attached via an elastic loop.  Don't need the clip? Simply open it and slide out of the elastic loop.
