Today we're going to show you how to create two versions of Breast Cancer Support Ribbon wreaths decked out in pink and patterned ribbons, just in time for Awareness Month in October. At CraftOutlet.com, we carry these ribbon shaped wreath forms with and without tinsel ties, and we're going to demonstrate ways to use both! Our first wreath, the 4-ribbon wreath, is a similar process shown in our Mardi Gras Four Ribbon Wreath tutorial but on a ribbon shaped wreath form rather than a traditional round form. The second wreath is more of a traditional approach using deco mesh, ribbons, and the ribbon form with the tinsel ties. If you're interesting in learning how to use a support ribbon form, both of these videos will teach you how!

- 2.5" Royal Canvas Ribbon: Fuchsia PinkĀ (10 Yards, we used the whole roll)

- 4" Clear Zip Ties (Pack of 100, we used about half)
Tools
- Scissors

When we made our combined ribbon roll, you'll notice we ordered the ribbons with the Royal Canvas Pink Ribbon on the outside, Breast Cancer Awareness ribbon next, then the Hot Pink and WhiteĀ Chevron ribbon and lastly the Royal Canvas Fuchsia ribbon on the inside. The ribbon that is on the very outside of your roll (Royal Canvas Pink for us) will be the dominant color of the wreath (because it will have slightly more yardage than the others), followed by the next Awareness Ribbon, and so on. So it's up to you which color you want to be most dominant. We chose the light pink ribbon because we already had two fuchsias and wanted to balanceĀ out the lights and the darks. But if you include the Awareness Ribbon, we recommendĀ always placing it in either the 1st or 2nd most dominant spots because it does have words on it and you want to be able to see the most of it that you can.

Above, we've included for you a helpful diagram for the number of loops you'll need to make in each section. Keep this handy for reference when you're making your wreathĀ to keepĀ all confusion to a minimum!
This wreath style doesn't have to be limited to Breast Cancer Awareness. Other Awareness ribbons can be made by choosing 4 ribbons of the same width in an appropriate color scheme. For a list of Awareness Ribbons and their color, you can follow the link here. Use your front door as a way to spread awareness and support for whatever you desire.
