We think decorating the presents sitting under your tree is just as important as decorating the tree itself! In this tutorial, we'll show you how to give your presents some big show without breaking the bank. If you've been following our other tutorials, you might have enough deco mesh and ribbon scraps laying around to make these beautiful bows.

Supplies

You'll also need: Wire (We used Tinsel Roping), Wire Cutters, Scissors, a Ruler or Yardstick, and the present you want to decorate.

If you like the other style we show in the pictures below, the amounts of ribbon and process is the same, just using different colors. The supplies are as follows:
* Unfortunately the mesh we used in the tutorial has been discontinued, but this mesh is a great substitute with the same color combination

Making just the bow for the small present took our designer about 6 minutes and creating both the bow and deco mesh wrap for a larger present takes about 8 mins. If you're a beginner be aware it may take a bit longer. But the more you make, the easier and faster they are to create. If you had to purchase all of the supplies for this bow, it would cost about $50, but you can make at least 8 bows with that material. This is also a great project for using pre-existing scraps, take a few ribbons you think look good, roughly 4 yards of leftover deco mesh, and you've got yourself a beautiful gift wrap. Note however that the Deco Mesh (or ribbon) you physically wrap around the present will be the real factor in how much deco mesh you will need for this project. To use as a size reference, the smaller wrapped box we used was 12 in x 6 in x 8 in and the larger one was 18 in x 12.5 in x 17.5 in.

**If the pinecone tinsel ties aren’t available, you can also use these pinecone picks in the same way.  Just wire them together and use like you would a tinsel tie, as shown below.
