This 2.5" ribbon is the mid-width version of our classic red and light blue tartan. It has a taffeta plaid face woven on the bias, so the red and green blocks and the black, white, and fine yellow pinstripes all run at an angle across the ribbon. A solid light blue dupioni is fused to the back, and red overlock stitching finishes both wired edges.
The slubby dupioni gives the backing a little texture, and the color is a nice surprise when you twist your loops during bow making. At 2.5" wide, it's an easy size for standard wreath bows, door hangers, and garland ties. You can also layer it with the 4" version for a coordinated Preppy Christmas or Nutcracker wreath.
