Description

This is the wider 2.5" version of our moss green flat velvet ribbon — a good step up in visual weight from the 1.5" version if you need more presence in your bows or wreath loops. The velvet surface has a smooth, short pile with a matte finish and no sheen, in a muted earthy olive-moss tone that sits comfortably between sage and hunter green. It's a reliable, year-round green that pairs naturally with burgundy, cream, gold, and deep navy for Christmas, fall, and woodland-themed projects. Both edges are finished with a looped overcast stitch in matching moss green thread. Unlike the Lush Velvet version in this same color, this flat velvet has a tighter, more uniform pile with no crushed texture — cleaner and more tailored in appearance.

Wired Ribbon - Splice Disclaimer

Wired edge ribbons (from Craft Outlet or otherwise) may not always be a single continuous piece.  In cases where a spool has been spliced, the factory has been instructed to provide 6" or more of extra ribbon to make up for any associated waste.

Most spools will be continuous without splices, but not all. Customers finding a splice will typically adjust their bows to hide the splice within a fold.
