Description

This is the wider 2.5" version of our royal purple flat velvet ribbon — a good choice when you need more visual weight than the 1.5" version provides. The velvet surface has a smooth, short pile with a matte finish and no sheen, in a deep, fully saturated violet-purple that reads as true royal purple — not lavender, not grape, not plum. It's a bold, clear color with real presence. Both edges are finished with a looped overcast stitch in matching purple thread, keeping the construction clean and consistent from end to end. At 2.5" wide, it's well-suited as a primary bow ribbon on larger wreaths, and it's a natural fit for Mardi Gras projects alongside gold and green, or for regal and holiday arrangements paired with black, burgundy, or ivory.

Wired Ribbon - Splice Disclaimer

Wired edge ribbons (from Craft Outlet or otherwise) may not always be a single continuous piece.  In cases where a spool has been spliced, the factory has been instructed to provide 6" or more of extra ribbon to make up for any associated waste.

Most spools will be continuous without splices, but not all. Customers finding a splice will typically adjust their bows to hide the splice within a fold.
